6-track mini album, self-financed on their own label, I can't belive a band
this good is unsigned. The scorching guitars of "Beast" and "Bone Song"
give a sonic edge to the artcore/pop crossover that fits neatly with a less
frenetic Breeders or a more poppy Pixies/Sonic Youth. The abrassive
collage of monolithic guitars, cool vocals, Joy Division "talking" basslines
and a rhythmic pummeling is so inviting. Wow!
