If you plan on playing a lot on BSW it is recomended that you install the BSW-client. This way all the graphics will be stored localy on your computer and everything will go much faster. The client is a program you use to run BSW in, instead of using a browser like Internet Explorer.Download

Important: When you start the client it will say waiting when it is ready. This means it is waiting for you to click it...
ET .prop-file generator (you want this)
You can also define your own menues by editing the brettspielwelt.prop file that comes with the client. To make this operation easier we have made a .prop-file generator that amont other cool stuff will give you all the EnglishTown games on your client GameRooms-menu.
Patches and modified graphics
There is also a lot of different patches and new graphics you can install to together with the client e.g. get english text in Princes of Florence, or just clearer tiles in CCJuS.
"Is it a tiger, or?" This is the kind of questions you don't have to ask yourself after you have downloaded the modified tiles for CCJuS.
Why have this patch? If you are colorblind, you may have found it almost impossible to tell the green (gruen) cards from the brown (braun) cards in Sticheln, even if you maximize the screen. Paradox99 have made this alternate set of green cards with a bold "G" on the lower right of each card. This makes it is easy to tell the two apart. For instructions, see "Sticheln Patch Instuctions.txt" that are included.
Emerald City Client Patches
The Emerald.City guys have done a great job making patches for several of the games. Just note that the PR and Princes of Florenze patches are now included with the client, so there is no need to install those.
