The History of EnglishTown

- New games: Trans America and another Lost Cities house.
In addition more town houses have
been built for people to move in to.
- December 2001
- 29.11 - 02.12.2001 the big Städteturnier took place in BSW.
Initially EnglishTown was anounced as winner of the tournament, but after the final point counting
we ended up with 117 points and Alkatraz with 118.
In four of the eight games EnglishTown ended up among the 3 best towns:
Lost Cities - 1st place (Hossa23, Garnett)
Manitou - 1st place (Jonathan, Scaramouche)
KUK - 2nd place (Nikita, Scaramouche)
Tichu - 2nd place (AndyL, AaronDF, Nikita, Albatros)

- There have been an election and Nikita was
voted new mayor of EnglishTown. mregamr has done a great job for
EnglishTown and now continues his work as deputy mayor. The other
positions stay unchanged with mireille as treasurer and glebi as chief
of security.

- The city center are finally starting to take form.

- Three new games build: Tichu, Caracassonne and Can't Stop. In addition the roads in the town are starting to take form.

- PeterTGR realized he had not so much time to spend in the welt at the moment, resulting in the need for a new
Kämmerer. A warm welcome to our new Kämmererin mireille!

- EnglishTown has got its first tent, housing a
brand new Bazaar game. Due to the enormous popularity of EnglishTown and
by this need for more housing, EnglishTown could today celebrate the
building of a second farm house.

- People play like crazy in EnglishTown, making
it possible to already build two new gaming huts: Backgammon and KUK.

- Finally EnglishTown got the talers for the last couple of weeks game playing. Three new game houses was
built hosting: Lost Cities, Siedler and Tichu.

- The first town house and farm was built in EnglishTown. Finally people can move in to proper housing and
don't have to camp in the woods anymore.

- After some weeks struggeling to find a name for the new town, EnglishTown was founded by mregamr, PeterTGR, glebi and Nikita
